Dalton, Ga.—Mark Clayton, president, Phenix Flooring, will retire on March 31, 2023. Phenix is part of the Mannington Mills family of companies.

Clayton joined Phenix in 2012 and helped lead the business through tremendous growth,
including the Mannington acquisition in 2020, according to the company. In total, he has 36 years of experience in the flooring industry and held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing before assuming leadership roles and ultimately moving into the president role at Phenix.

“Mark has been a foundational force in building Phenix into what it is today and a critical piece of the integration of Phenix into the Mannington Residential business,” said Tom Pendley, president and CEO of Mannington Mills. “We are grateful for all his contributions and wish him a long and happy retirement.”

Upon Mark’s retirement, Phenix will be led by Zack Zehner, president of Mannington Residential, according to the company.
