Chicago—For the first time since June 2019, the commercial design community will gather in-person for NeoCon 2021, which returns to theMART here Oct. 4-6. This year’s event is themed “Design Anew” and will include new product launches from leading and emerging brands, as well as presentations from industry leaders. Safety measures and protocols will be in place for NeoCon with attendees required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the show.

Dalton—Shaw Industries has purchased a significant controlling interest in Watershed Geosynthetics (Watershed Geo) and has entered into a letter of intent to acquire controlling interest in Watershed Solar. These moves build on the long-standing partnership between Shaw and Watershed Geo. “We have had a business and financial relationship with Watershed Geo for 10 years,” said Vance Bell, Shaw’s executive chairman.
