Slithering Salomè

Delighted by last years release of a tile collection by the great colour master Adam Nathaniel Furman, I was even more excited to learn that a new collection was on its way. And finally it’s here!

Paying homage to Italian painting style La Figura Serpentinata painting, Furman’s new Salomè ceramic tiles twist and turn like the curving of a snake or the shape of a scale, creating a cascading effect as the 3D waves catch the light.

The two sides of each tile can be created in contrasting colours or finishes, producing an unusual janus-faced visual effect that varies throughout the day with the shadow and shine of the sun.
