Alpharetta, Ga.—Alliance Flooring welcomed Megan Simmons as director of member development working out of the office here. Simmons will help existing members take full advantage of the benefits available to them in the Alliance Flooring program. Simmons has a wealth of flooring knowledge and experience in retail, sales, training and marketing.

“I’m thrilled and honored to be presented with the opportunity to join the AFI family,” Simmons said. “This role is where my experiences and passions collide. It will allow me to tap into my teaching and training background to support existing members and their needs, as well as work to bring in new members and grow the AFI network.”

Simmons brings experience in building relationships and assisting in sales growth. “I view this as an opportunity to learn and grow sales for our current members through our supplier partners,” Simmons said. “I feel there’s no greater way to learn than from each other and the ‘experts’ doing the daily work. We have the chance to make advances within our group—fostering a support network, finding solutions, and delivering growth and satisfaction to the enduser.”

Ryan Dunn, co-president and CEO, added, “Megan has a great opportunity to become a cornerstone in our company for what we are building internally. Our biggest initiative this year, outside of new member growth, is to dial-in to each member’s needs individually. Our goal is to meet each member where they are and then find a pathway through our vendors for a win-win situation for all. This long-standing commitment to our members will be enhanced by this hire. Megan has a true passion to see people do better. She wants to energize members and see them move forward with the program. Her  passion to help our members become better flooring retailers fits our company perfectly.”
