As seen on Design Milk , this Westwood condo gets a much needed and long overdue update. From dark and dated and stuck in the 80s, it’s now white, bright and full of life. Adding to its eclectic coziness, the fireplace’s former brick surround was replaced with our in-stock Serengeti cement tiles in a graphic black and white concrete tile pattern.

We love it when customers come in with photos or art work that they want to draw from when designing their spaces. We had a lovely homeowner and designer in last week, and they brought with them the homeowners favorite vase, which was covered with capiz-like discs, as well as a photo of a bathroom done with beautiful calacatta marble. She wanted to use these as the jumping off point for her master bath redesign.

Studio Yaroslav Galant completed the design of Hanaya , a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in Lisbon, Portugal. The eclectic concept was inspired by the owners’ travels across Portugal and their interest in Japanese culture. References to traditional Portuguese aesthetics merge with the principles of Japanese philosophy. For example, the stone “lace” from the Monserrate Palace in Sintra became a prototype for the stamped wall.

The True Apartment by SVOYA Studio is a private modern home located in Kiev, Ukraine. The designers aimed to develop a peaceful refuge for the inhabitants to contrast the hectic rhythm of a bustling metropolis. According to the designers, the customer wanted to convert the three-room apartment into a home with just two interiors: a spacious area that combined the kitchen and the living/dining room, and a large bedroom with lots of storage space and a glass-enclosed shower.
