Ceramiche Piemme obtains new certifications

After successfully completing strict compliance audits, Ceramiche Piemme recently obtained the new ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 certifications relating to occupational health and safety and energy efficiency. This achievement marks the latest milestone in the Fiorano Modenese-based company’s process of growth and renewal following a 12% increase in revenue to €80 million in 2021 and an export share that rose to 87%.

“These two certifications are strategically important for our development plan. They not only demonstrate the quality of the work we have been doing, but will also help us to further improve process management within the company. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this achievement,” said Carla Vacchi, Chairman of Ceramiche Piemme.

Specifically, ISO 45001 certification demonstrates that the company’s safety management system not only complies with standards but is organised with a view to continuous improvement and reduction of risk factors so as to ensure the health and safety of workers.

ISO 50001 certification relates to energy management and demonstrates that the company has adopted a system for increasing process efficiency and improving energy performance, thereby reducing the specific costs of the energy carriers used.
