Tile of Spain, the international brand representing 125 ceramic tile manufacturers belonging to the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association (ASCER), has released the Cersaie ’15 App. The App provides information about the Tile of Spain companies exhibiting at Cersaie 2015 on September 28th through October 2nd in Bologna, Italy. The free app, which is available for iOS and Android devices, allows access to all Spanish ceramic tile distributors at the event.

Shower Floor Beginnings

How to Floor Tile

This just a quick tip on installing a shower floor. What you see here is what we call a "pre-slope". This is drypack concrete and its sole purpose is to provide the initial slope to the drain. After this dries the membrane or waterproofing is applied to this and up the sides where the 2x6 is installed around the wall. This pre-slope is a bit wetter than I generally like to work with.
