Okay, so grout is NOT the most interesting thing to read about; however, it’s such an important part of design! I recently saw this awesome photo on Ella Scott Design’s Instagram page that had our 4” Calacatta Chablis Hexagon mosaic on the wall and penny round mosaic on the floor. The design was stunning, so obviously I inquired about it from our internal designer / salesperson.

Sharp White Blocks Contrast Nature in Thailand: Suan Kachamudee Resort

There is much inspiration to be found on the newsstands this fall. In the October 2015 issue of Architectural Digest, be sure to flip to the bath that Nate Berkus, the hip and talented young designer, created for his own house. I was immediately attracted to the book-matched stone feature wall. This striking wall is clad from floor to ceiling in arabescota slabs, with its active surface and rich coloration unifying the small space.

Leap and the Net Will Appear by Wayne Stratz. Stained glass and scrabble tiles(not pictured), 11×14 inches. She arrived with print-outs from our website, and a bag of Scrabble tiles. She wanted the word “leap” in flowing bright colors: red, orange, yellow, and the tiles spelling out “and the net will appear.” She wanted the light to shine through all that color, so the project went to Stratoz.
