Casalgrande Padana Limpha leaf ceramic slab self cleaning

Lifelike Limpha

The bright green leafy print of Limpha is hard to ignore. An unexpected wall of foliage made entirely from ceramic slabs is an interesting take on the modern desire for green spaces. Creating a mask for structures that take from nature, by replicating not only the visual benefits but also the air purifying abilities of leaves and trees, this collection by Casalgrande Padana gives back in ways only technology could.

The original three versions of Limpha uncannily resembled a variety of leafy surfaces, looking three dimensional but remaining flat. At Cersaie they took their theme to another level, including a touch of colour in Coral Rose which features a climbing rose with flower imagery, and Larix which draws on tree bark, adding a darker, moodier, and intriguing look to the collection.

The slabs measure 1,200 by 2,400mm and have the ability to reduce air pollution and be easily cleaned by rainwater due to their superhydrophilic surface and Bios Self-Cleaning® technology created in a partnership between the Casalgrande Padana Research Centre and leading sanitaryware manufacturer Toto. They add life to any space and are suitable foor both indoors and out.
