HomeCOVID-19NWFA cancels 2020 Expo

Floor Covering News has learned the NWFA has canceled its 2020 Wood Flooring Expo in response to the threat COVID-19 poses. Michael Martin, NWFA president and CEO, made the announcement following the CDC’s recommendation to cancel all large group gatherings scheduled for the next eight weeks.

“In terms of next steps, the NWFA is weighing the best potential path forward, and will be reaching out to all registrants and exhibitors in the coming days,” Martin said. “Rest assured, the decisions made will be guided by our responsibility to ensure the health and safety of our members.”

For individuals who made Expo hotel reservations through NWFA, the association will cancel the reservations and no cancelation fees will be charged. If reservations were made outside the NWFA room block, individuals should contact the hotel directly. All attendees should contact their airline carrier for their cancelation policy as well.

Contact the NWFA at 636.519.9663 for more information.
