Bruce expands waterproof rigid core line

BruceMountville, Pa.—Bruce expanded its popular line of rigid core flooring with the new LifeSeal Classic Plus. The collection delivers 100% waterproof protection to stand up to the busiest of homes and light commercial spaces, without sacrificing comfort or style, according to Bruce.

“These floors are a popular choice for families because they aren’t prone to water damage,” said Brian Parker, vice president-product management, AHF Products. “Plus, you can give your home that luxurious look on a budget and without the worry that it will get scratched, dented and ruined by kids and pets.”

LifeSeal Classic Plus offers a diverse color palette with visuals that represent the authentic character found in natural hardwood. The collection also offers on-trend wider and longer planks to mimic the look of real wood, 8 x 60.

The 100% waterproof planks are easy to maintain and can be installed on any level of the home, according to Bruce. The floors are said to perform well at high and low temperatures, from zero to 200F.

In active homes with kids and pets, rigid core products like Bruce LifeSeal are going to dent less than traditional luxury vinyl products and provide the added benefit of waterproof protection, according to the company. In addition to being 100% waterproof, the floors feature a 12-mil wear layer and provide the type of impact resistance and dimensional stability for high-traffic areas that you’d expect from one of the best vinyl plank flooring brands, the company said.
