NFA cancels Spring 2020 meeting

HomeCOVID-19NFA cancels Spring 2020 meeting

Floor Covering News has learned the NFA has canceled its 2020 Spring Conference in response to the threat COVID-19 poses. Jason McSwain, NFA president, made the announcement out of an abundance of caution.

“As a nation, we have entered a time of great uncertainty with COVID-19,” McSwain said. “As flooring retailers and manufacturers, our customers and employees are nervous and anxious. I believe we are not called to a spirit of fear. Now is the time for many of us to be present in our businesses for the unknown that may arise in the coming weeks.”

The NFA board is being cautious with its decisions and actions, keeping the safety and health of its members and vendors in mind. The board is currently working with the hotel to reschedule and will update attendees when possible.
