mass mediaCalhoun, Ga.—Aladdin Commercial, a Mohawk brand, is reinvesting in its top-selling Mass Media collection with new Current Events carpet tile, providing elevated, subtle design patterns and sustainable offerings, according to the company.

“Seeing what great success our Mass Media collection has had, we knew that we had to expand the collection even more,” said Robb Myer, vice president of Aladdin Commercial. “The new Current Events carpet tile is a beautiful new addition that provides superior performance and coordinates seamlessly with Aladdin’s other offerings.”

Featuring a subtle, yet stunning textured design, Current Events is perfect for elevating waiting areas, office spaces and hallways or defining wayfinding, according to the company. Current Events carpet tiles can be used to create a subtle pop of design in combination with other Aladdin Commercial products.

Providing a sustainable option to the Mass Media collection, Current Events is created with EnviroStrand fiber and UltraSet Matrix Backing. EnviroStrand fiber is constructed with Mohawk’s patented Continuum technology and UltraSet Matrix Backing provides permanent dimensional stability and protection against moisture damage from spills and water extraction cleaning. UltraSet Matrix Backing is manufactured using less energy than other carpet tile products and contains a minimum of 40 percent pre-consumer recycled content.

“Aladdin Commercial is proud to release Current Events, bringing more comprehensive products to our portfolio,” Myer said. “These versatile designs and color variations will add style to any commercial interior.”
