Santa Fe Springs, Calif.—Lions Floor has announced appointed Pete Thompson as its new vice president of operations. Thompson, who most recently served as regional director of operations for Swiff-Train Company, brings a wealth of experience in operations management.

Thompson, a veteran of the United States Air Force, brings a unique approach to leadership by combining his experience and work ethic from being raised as a Missouri farm boy with his innate curiosity of marketing and human behavior. Working in conjunction with his teams, Thompson has been responsible for multi-million dollar process improvements in both the distribution and manufacturing arenas. His 28 years of “boots on the ground” operational experience allows him to approach improvement opportunities from multitude of angles.
Prior to Swiff-Train, Thompson served in operational roles for ConAgra Foods, Coca-Cola, Owens Corning and Lowes.
