The bold colour trend of the year has definitely not disappeared, however some companies have preferred to take a gentler approach. Incorporating pastels in a range of ways, these soft collections add a graceful air to interiors.

Fabresa is using pastels in a variety of ways throughout their collections, from the watercolour look purples and greys of Vita and delicately coloured Spatule, to one collection in particular that caught Tile Addict’s eye. Gamma’s range of eight pastel tones that span the rainbow are complemented by a selection of tweleve mix and match modern pattern decors. The tiles’ use of shape gives them a contemporary appearance, whilst the subtle tones and texture offer a worn, almost sun-bleached look.

Mainzu‘s Nazari collection incorporated many beautiful elements, including some delicate pastels. It is a slightly muted range, with the pale tones heavily integrated into the Moroccan style decors. The pastel yellow, pink, green and grey play a key role in softening the patterns. The base tiles predominantly feature these light pastels with a few contrasting deeper tones.

A rich, lively selection of pastels is presented in Cerasarda‘s Trasparenza Marine. The collection showcases a range of 8 pastel shades and tiles with a semi-deep oceanic style relief, fishscale shapes, and mosaic decors including decors of marine life. It is a very complete collection with clear theme and lovely use of pastels that brings vibrancy to interiors.

A simple range of pastels was shown by Life Ceramica. Evolution is a standard collection of textured, artisanal look tiles, including pastel shades of greens and blues and richer toned reds in three shapes (75  by 150mm, 75 by 300mm, and 150 by 150mm).

This is just a small selection of the various ways companies at Cersaie have taken a subtle approach to the colour trend of 2019, and we look forward to discovering more.
