According to the company, Alpine combines high elastomeric properties, unlimited moisture protection and sound control up to 63 IIC, 62 STC, making it Taylor’s all-in-one urethane installation solution.

Alpine can install engineered, solid plank and parquet wood flooring, cork flooring, bamboo, acrylic impregnated plank and more. This wood flooring adhesive is rated for residential, multi-family and light commercial, and is low odor and low VOC. Coverage is 20 to 50 square feet/gallon, depending on application and trowel size used.

“Urethane adhesives are still a trusted installation adhesive for many installers,” said Paul Murfin, president, Taylor. “You simply can’t get a better urethane adhesive than Alpine and it complements our Timberline adhesive introduced a year ago.”

Timberline is a moisture-cured, low-odor urethane adhesive for wood flooring installation. Coming in 3.5-gallon metal pails, Timberline features a strong, elastomeric bond, fast-grab and non-slump characteristics for easy installation, as well as low VOCs. Coverage is 35 to 180 sf/gallon, depending on application and trowel size used. All types of wood flooring can be installed with Timberline, along with recycled rubber, cork flooring and bamboo (not strand woven).

According to Tim Riley, director of U.S. distribution at Taylor, Alpine is now in production and is estimated to be hitting shelves by mid-August.
