Source CollectionMontmagny, Quebec―Canadian-based Mercier Wood Flooring launched its brand-new Source Collection that it said meet the expectations of designers and homeowners looking for modern yet authentic and durable pre-finished wood flooring.

Mercier Wood Flooring’s Source Collection is grouped into three shades of brown with caramel tones. The seven new products from the Source Collection show floors with a muted grain through a delicate application of color on the wood’s surface, according to the company. Floors from the Source Collection are offered in the solid and engineered platforms in widths varying from 3 1/4 to 8 1/8 according to the species. Protected by the Mercier Generations or Generations Intact 2500 finish, they are offered respectively with matte and intact glosses.

Red Oak Naked

Red oak has a distinct grain and now benefits from Naked Collection’s finishing process, unique to Mercier, that the company said seals the original color of raw wood. Available in solid and engineered, in distinction and authentic grades, Red Oak Naked is offered in widths ranging from 3 1/4 to 8 1/8. It is also protected by Mercier Generations and Generations Intact 2500 finishes and is available in matte and intact glosses.

According to the company, these new products respond to the needs of floor covering retailers and consumers who wish to purchase the very best.
