XGSChattanooga, Tenn.—Xpress Global Systems (XGS) has embarked on a strategic expansion into the North Carolina market by opening a new service center in Charlotte. The company said it expects to employ office personnel, warehouse staff and truck drivers on both a full-time and part-time basis.

“There has been increased demand from our floor covering customers for transportation and warehouse solutions,” said Tom Hardy, vice president – sales and marketing. “We are very excited to add Charlotte to our growing network of service centers across the country.”

While XGS specializes in handling rolled goods such as broadloom carpet, sheet vinyl and turf, the company said it offers storage and delivery on all types of flooring products. “Charlotte will strengthen our footprint in the region and provide our floor covering customers better service options,” said Dan Martin, CEO. “We look forward to welcoming our new associates to the XGS team and providing an exceptional customer experience into the Carolinas.”
