Chattanooga Times Free PressDalton, Ga.—Shaw Industries was named the top winner in three employer categories for the Chattanooga Times Free Press 2022 North Georgia “Best of the Best” awards. In this year’s people’s choice award, the company garnered the most votes to win Best of the Best for Industrial Manufacturing Company, Logistics Company and Overall Place to Work. Shaw said these wins are a testament to their associates and the world-class service they provide customers and the end-consumer every day.

“With more than 65% of our associates based in North Georgia, we are honored to be recognized as the area’s employer of choice,” said Torrance Ford, vice president of talent management, Shaw. “Our associates are our greatest asset and we are especially proud to be considered the ‘Best of the Best’ by the best of the best. We celebrate them and their extraordinary talent for making Shaw an employer of choice.”

The awards are presented by The Chattanooga Times Free Press, the largest media outlet in the Chattanooga region, serving readers in Southeast Tennessee, Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. According to the company, more than 78,000 votes were cast by readers in Catoosa, Dade, Gordon, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties.
