RepairDalton—Taylor Adhesives introduced a new hardwood flooring repair kit, Repair, and a new size to its growing wood line up.

Repair contains everything needed to repair hollow spots in hardwood flooring, except the drill, according to Taylor. The new kit contains a one-quart bottle of adhesive, one 60cc plastic syringe, two metal applicator tips, two drill bits, eight dowels and one dowel punch. It also has a one-year shelf life.

Now in a new 20-ounce size, Ironwood Glue Assist reduces friction squeaks common with nail/staple-down installations. The product features a wet set, early grab and fast curing formula and is solvent and isocyanate-free. It also has rapid occupancy times that’s high-strength, waterproof with an elastomeric bond. According to Taylor, it’s non-staining, easy to clean, features antimicrobial technology, has extremely low VOCs and odor while also contributing to LEED v4 (CDPH v1.2). The product is warranted over cutback residue.
