Good morning! Pantone has just announced two colors of the year for the first time ever! They are "Serenity and Rose Quartz"- pale blue and pink. These will be the "in" colors next year across fashion, makeup and interior design according to Pantone: “In many parts of the world we are experiencing a gender blur as it relates to fashion, which has in turn impacted color trends throughout all other areas of design,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Pantone’s executive director.

Staging Mistakes That Instantly Turn Off Home Buyers

Stagetecture

It’s no longer a seller’s market in real estate. While home prices keep on rising every year, buyers have many options to choose from and think twice before making a buying decision. No matter how beautiful a home is, buyers will never make an offer if it is filled with clutter or has a bad smell. Avoid these home staging mistakes many sellers make.

Open Floor Plans: A Trend for Modern Living

What to get an Architect for Christmas (2015)

Life of an Architect

Have you ever tried shopping for an architect? I bet you hated it … because architects are kind of snobby ( and I can say that since I am an architect ). I have been assembling this list for about 10 months and spent a chunk of my weekend pulling it all together – putting some new things on the list, and taking some old things off. When I counted everything up, I only had 21 times on here and, well, what sort of number is 21?
