We don’t typically go for floor lamps—unless it’s the Arco by Achille Castiglioni or the Tolomeo Mega Floor  by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina—but this one by Andrea Summerton, founder of Brooklyn, N.Y.-based ALS Designs, caught our eye. Measuring 57¼ inches tall, the elegant piece is made from urea formaldehyde-free bamboo (with a natural Tung oil) and features a Kraft paper drum lampshade. I’m still not into floor lamps, but I could see this one in my house.
