Write this down: Duravit makes some of the best bath products on the market. When I say best I mean the best all-around products that blend design, performance, and quality. American Standard makes solid products, but cutting-edge design is lacking. The Japanese brand bath TOTO offers great products, but its design also falls short—just a bit. Kohler and the Swiss brand Laufen are perhaps the closest rivals. (Truth be told, Kohler probably wins because it also makes great faucets—which Duravit does not—but that’s a different argument for a different day.)

Duravit, building on its great reputation, has introduced its newest bath collection, Delos. Created in collaboration with the design studio EOOS, the line is all about clean, minimalist bath products such as floating cabinets, LED mirrors, and drawers featuring an intuitive interior organization structure and drawers using an open-close push system. 

“A signature of the collection is the Delos console’s innovative weightless appearance, which is due to an invisible fitting,” the company says. “Without the encumbrance of traditional wall fittings and heavy hardware, the console’s straight-lined design is showcased to full effect.”

Delos is available in two real-wood finishes (dark walnut or light oak) and in high-gloss white. All you need to do now is pair the new bath furniture with products from the company’s Happy D line and add a faucet from Kohler or Dornbracht and your bath will be well on its way to being the best on the block. www.duravit.us.
