What do Microsoft, Facebook, Herman Miller, and The Conran Shop have in common? They’re all clients of Dare Studio, a little British design firm that produces contemporary furniture and lighting products for luxury domestic interiors and commercial clients.
“All of our pieces are hand-made to order with an acute attention to detail,” the company’s website states. “We use a combination of sophisticated techniques and the finest, carefully selected materials making each and every piece special, something we are very proud of.”
Established in 2009 by Sean Dare in 2009, Dare Studio is flexible enough that it can offer bespoke customization, so all of the company’s pieces can tailored to large customers as well as individuals. It also provide a complete design and manufacture service for special commissions. The company produces pieces from solid American walnut, white oak, and leather and fabric upholstery.
