Next month at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago, Ecovacs Robotics will debut what could be the best thing since slice bread—a robot that cleans your windows. Winbot, as this God-send is called, “is the world’s first window cleaning robot,” says Nick Savadian, executive general manager. “It doesn’t do floors, walls or clean the air in the home. … Winbot does windows, any size and any thickness, and I’m very pleased to say it makes windows sparkling clean.”

The robot is apparently simple to use. Put the pads on the Winbot, mist with the solution, place the bot on the window, and a blue light comes on when suction takes hold. The device then begins a zigzag pattern that covers every inch of the window. http://www.ecovacs.com.
