A couple of months ago, I had never heard of Sonneman. But an editor friend of mine passed along a press release he had received, and the company now has my attention. Boy did I feel silly once I saw the company’s wicked-cool modern pieces, from bath fixtures that will not  embarrass you to pendants that will improve your design cred.

There is much to like. One that caught my eye is Sky, a minimalist table lamp that’s all glass except for the opaque paper shade. It measures 24 inches tall and 24 inches in diameter. The lamp even comes with a cool red silk-covered cord for, you know, visual interest. There are plenty of other cool products, but here are three for you to sample.
