Fresh-Faced Facade

Seeking to transform Coffs Harbour’s library, museum, and gallery to better suit its evolving presence as a tourist hub, the architects at BVN have reskinned Yarilla Place with a striking display of glass and ceramic.

This refreshed aesthetic was chosen to fuse tradition with modern culture whilst also revitalising the function and vision of the building. A ceramic facade system from Tempio makes up the exterior, ensuring a finish that can withstand the coastal weather conditions.

Creating harmony with the surroundings of Yarilla Place, the rich and verdant shade Aberdeen Green was specified, mirroring the spectacular mountains and trees beyond the building.
