Sunder Muthappan

New York, NY—Commercial Flooring Provider RD Weis announced the hiring of Sunder Muthappan as account executive to serve the New York Metro Area effective Nov. 2.

“Sunder is a welcome addition to the RD Weis family,” said Randy Weis, CEO and founder of RD Weis. “His expertise in project management and estimating will further enhance our position in the all-important New York market.”

Prior to joining RD Weis, Sunder was senior estimator/project manager for Tipp Floor Covering, where he reviewed construction drawings, documents, specifications and determined scope of work. At Centron Enterprises, Sunder collaborated with engineers, architects, clients and contractors on estimates, and worked with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients, identifying and quantifying cost factors, such as production time, materials and labor expenses.

Sunder earned his master of science degree in civil engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a bachelor of engineering degree from the College of Engineering in India.
