Kinetex DigitalDalton—The Kinetex line from J+J Flooring continues to grow with the launch of Digital, its lastest release in the textile composite flooring category. Providing the performance attributes of hard surface with the softness and warmth of carpet, Kinetex is a go-anywhere, do-anything flooring solution.

“The pattern and overall design for Digital was inspired by the speed at which data is moving today,” said Marie Moore, design manager for Kinetex at J+J Flooring. “Think of how information might be moving throughout a motherboard—that’s where we started for the pattern design on this product.”

The all over pattern in small-to-medium scale provides a sophisticated look for workplace, retail, education and even healthcare spaces. The breadth of color options is extensive for the line; with 18 colorways with accent colors on neutral bases. The collection expands on traditional color stories by introducing fresh color combinations. “The color pairings were intentional and provide new and unexpected combinations, which are interesting and fresh,” Moore noted.

The 24 x 24-inch tile was colored and patterned in order to create a seamless floor with very little visible distinction between tiles. Digital also coordinates thoughtfully with existing J+J Flooring LVT and carpet offerings providing a suite of flooring solutions.

Kinetex provides key performance and sustainability attributes. With its lifetime warranty, performance is guaranteed, according to the company. Kinetex contains no less than 45% post-consumer recycled content, with one 24 x 24 tile containing 27 recycled plastic bottles. The sustainability of Kinetex is backed by a Red List Free Declare label, NSF/ANSI-140 Platinum qualification and product transparency is highlighted through an EPD and HPD. Additionally, Kinetex is carbon neutral.
