Lancaster, Pa.—Ecore, a manufacturer of ergonomic and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, announced that Allison Porter has joined its sales team as director of sales, east & strategic accounts.

Porter is an experienced strategic brand development professional and a top-performing sales and customer experience leader. Porter’s territory includes Albany County and south to New York City and Long Island in New York, Southwest Connecticut, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, the Metro Washington D.C. area and Delaware along with select strategic accounts.

“We are excited for Allison to join our team,” said Andy Bogart, executive vice president of sales operations for Ecore. “With more than 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Allison’s expertise will help Ecore grow, and she will further develop our presence in the Northeast as well as nationally through our strategic accounts.”

Prior to joining Ecore, Porter was at Precor, part of Amer Sports, for more than 11 years, where she was responsible for senior strategic account development, revenue and growth on the largest global accounts in health and fitness. Porter also launched functional fitness in the Northeast with FreeMotion, a division of Icon Health and Fitness, and developed national accounts at Technogym, USA.

Porter has an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in textile and concept design in fashion merchandising, marketing and management from Wood Tobe-Coburn School of Design in New York, N.Y.
