Ringgold, Ga.—Happy Feet International has hired David Snedeker as vice president of strategic accounts and Tom Tidmore as regional vice president west. Both have more than 30 years of experience in the floor covering industry and bring a wealth of knowledge to the company.

“I know that having the two them on board will take our company to the next level and beyond,” said Jim Curtin, vice president of sales.

David Snedeker

Snedeker left his mark on the Nebraska Furniture Mart while working in Omaha. From distribution sales, buying and merchandising and senior retail management, he spent 25 years with the Mart and left as division merchandise manager for flooring. He also brings his extensive experience with the buying groups and his ability to identify major market trends and initiate successful programs to support them, the company said.

Prior to joining Happy Feet, Snedeker served as president of the National Flooring Alliance (NFA) recruiting new retail members and ensuring their sales programs were working. Snedeker will be responsible for working closely with NFA members, building strong relationships with them and developing programs to best serve their customers.

Tom Tidmore

Tidmore’s extensive experience involved developing successful sales and marketing programs, strategic planning, as well as geographical expansion for several leading national companies in the floor covering materials building industry. In addition, he spearheaded trade partnerships, sales management and operations, as well as repositioning companies in the building materials and home improvement business.

Prior to joining Happy Feet International, Tidmore was responsible for putting together a marketing team to expand and support national growth with successful digital and field marketing campaigns. Tidmore has the responsibility of growing Happy Feet International’s presence in the west, finding unique ways to establish a strong foothold.
