Michael HurtadoHouston, Texas—With over 24 years in the flooring industry, Michael Hurtado joins Spartan, spearheading growth in the Houston market. According to the company, on March 7, Hurtado joined the Spartan Texas team to further fulfill the company’s plans to saturate the state with best-in-class representation. Hurtado is the company’s third hire in the state, joining Amber Bartlett of Dallas, Texas and Rocky Tramonte of Austin, Texas.

Building on his vast knowledge in all flooring categories, Hurtado said he will be leveraging the expertise of team lead and vice president of sales, Michael Blasek. “Mike Hurtado performs at the highest level in our industry, which aligns with our goal to hire the very best,” Blasek said. “In addition to being a proven winner, Mike is a man of great integrity. We could not be prouder to have him represent Spartan green in Houston.”

Hurtado said he is excited to join the team and have the opportunity to assist in growing the company’s presence. “I’m competitive and love to win big,” Hurtado said. “I attribute my success to strong customer service and solution selling skills. I look forward to bringing this vast new offering to Texas that provides the logistical, aesthetic and performance needs to dominate the market.”

The company said it looks forward to seeing Hurtado’s growth as he continues to service retail, commercial and developer clients in the Houston area.
