Export, Pa.—The U.S. corporate headquarters of Karndean Designflooring, a market leader in luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, has been named one of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces for the 9th consecutive year by The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“At Karndean our employees have always been, and will always be, our greatest asset,” said Bill Anderson, CEO. “Although we’ve grown considerably since our humble beginnings in the U.S. in 1998, our corporate culture retains the feel of the small, family owned company that we started as in Pittsburgh more than 20 years ago.”

Karndean Designflooring currently employs 78 full-time employees at its U.S. headquarters and 166 full-time employees nationwide. The facility houses a public flooring showroom, open by appointment only, from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST; with additional U.S.-based distribution centers and showrooms in Fort Worth, Texas and Las Vegas.

The annual Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of company culture, including alignment, execution and connection, in addition to benefits, pay and flexibility.
