St. Georges, Quebec—Mirage, the hardwood flooring brand known for quality, has been named winner of FCNews’ Award of Excellence (Hardwood B category) for 2020. This marks the 11th time the company has earned the award.

Scores of dealers who participated in the FCNews Award of Excellence were asked to vote on the best hardwood flooring manufacturer in several categories based on the following criteria: design, service, value, performance, quality, sales force professionalism, management responsiveness, customer service, handling of claims and ease of doing business.

“We are honored to be recognized as No. 1 in the Hardwood B category again this year,” said Brad Williams, vice president of sales and marketing at Boa-Franc, maker of the Mirage brand. “We are grateful to the many retailers who have been loyal to our brand for all these years and who helped us to once again earn this prestigious award.”

Achievement keeps the winning streak going

The latest award marks the 38th industry distinction that Mirage has received. Boa-Franc has been named one of the Best Employers in Canada for 2016 and 2017 based on the results of the survey by Aon in Canada. The company was also the proud recipient of the highest distinctions the Canadian and Quebec government can bestow on businesses and organizations that successfully apply best business practices. In addition, Boa-Franc earned the Gold Trophy Award at the 2013 and 2018 Canada Awards for Excellence and the Grand Prix of Quality Award (Quebec) in 2012 and 2017.

“Having received 38 awards for quality and excellence over the last 20 years is a testament to the quality of the employees, suppliers and customers we have at Boa-Franc,” Williams said.

Legacy of innovation

Mirage prefinished hardwood floors are synonymous with superior quality, beauty, durability, guaranteed product consistency, added value and long-lasting beauty, according to Williams. It is the brand by which many others are measured. “Mirage epitomizes attention to detail and the desire to create a product in perfect harmony with its environment,” he added.

More importantly, the product is a reflection of the scores of employees united in a cause. “Mirage is more than a team—it’s a big family and our dealers are as much a part of it as our employees,” Williams said. “We will continue to go above and beyond and respect our commitment to quality in order to offer them this much-appreciated and recognized peace of mind.”
