Boys & Girls ClubSalem, N.J.—As part of Mannington Mills’ ongoing support of communities in which it’s located, the company recently presented the Madison-Morgan County (Georgia) Boys & Girls Club with a donation of $50,000 for its new building capital campaign, plus Mannington Commercial LVT and carpet for its new space.

As a result of this expansion, the club will be able to increase capacity from 65 youth to over 200. There will be separate areas for elementary school-age kids and middle and high schoolers, plus game and activity rooms, an art room, a kitchen, a computer lab, mentor rooms and a music studio.

“For 155 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America have provided programs that have helped millions of young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens,” the company said. “Youth who regularly attend The Madison-Morgan County Boys & Girls Club have very positive outcomes—like zero teen pregnancies; zero problems with drugs or alcohol; consistent As and Bs in school; and a 100% graduation rate from high school with plans to enter college or the workforce.”
