Merkrete will unveil two new tile setting products at Coverings 2022.

Chino, Calif.—Merkrete, a Parex USA brand, said it will display and demonstrate its time-saving, high-efficiency tile setting products at Coverings 2022 in Las Vegas (booth N2562).

Merkrete said its focus during North America’s largest ceramic tile and natural stone exhibition is to present high-performance solutions that reduce project times and allow installers to take on more business.

“Our goal has always been to provide cost-effective, high-performance product solutions that save the installers’ time and money while improving upon the overall results of the project,” said Todd Boos, national sales manager, Merkrete. “Many of our customers recognize us as an innovative brand that has enhanced and/or advanced many of the materials they work with every day. Coverings has always been a show where the industry’s best and brightest attend to view the latest trends, so we’re pleased to have an opportunity to demonstrate our new products and brand direction.”

Two technologies to be presented and demonstrated throughout the event are Merkrete’s slake-free grouts and mortars along with patented Dustless Technology (DLT). According to the company, slake-free products let installers forgo the waiting period and final mix required for most mortars and grouts on the market. Slake-free products are ready after a single mix, saving installation teams upward of 12 hours per pallet of material. Products with Dustless Technology generate significantly less unwanted dust during transportation and at the jobsite, according to Merkrete. Dustless mortars promote cleaner work areas and eliminate much of the cleanup tied to installation projects, according to the company.
