SikaTile (GPTP/S)Las Vegas—Sika, a global supplier of specialty industrial chemicals, will bring its SikaTile solutions for gauged porcelain tile panel and slab (GPTP/S) installations to TISE 2023, held here at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Sika representatives will be on hand to discuss the importance of surface preparation and the need to achieve flat surfaces using SikaLevel-025 Patch. Visitors will also learn how SikaTile-200 Fracture Guard Rapid prevents existing or eventual substrate cracks from transmitting through to the GPTP/S surface.

Also on display are dustless mortars formulated to accommodate the needed bond strengths and application times associated with GPTP/S installations: SikaTile-475 LHT Premium Set and SikaTile-500 LHT Lite. Finally, visitors will see how high-performance SikaTile-815 Secure Grout is designed to deliver hard, durable joints while Sikasil N Plus silicone sealant is designed to deliver expansion joints strong enough for GPTP/S installations.

“More and more of our customers and partners have embraced the gauged porcelain tile trend,” said Tom Carroll, Sika senior product manager. “They understand the importance of having high-quality products that are designed to excel under the more demanding circumstances of GPTP/S installations. They also appreciate our ability to deliver a full-line solution system for these installations. Make no mistake: the market demand for elegant, durable porcelain tile surfaces is undeniable and it is going to drive a lot of traffic to our booth.”
