Emser to debut virtual product showcase

HomeNewsEmser to debut virtual product showcase

Los Angeles— Emser Tile recently announced plans to host a series of virtual events — a virtual product showcase — featuring more than 20 new collections designed for both the residential and commercial markets. Events focused on home builder and dealer offerings are slated for March 3-4 and events focused on commercial and dealer offerings will take place Feb. 24-25. Each event will highlight the newest Emser collections, as well as the trends driving their introduction.

“We are committed to offering the preeminent customer experience and doing what’s right for our ever-changing industry,” said Mara Villanueva-Heras, vice president of marketing for Emser Tile. “Whether that means in person at our nearly 80 branches across the country, or through our Virtual Product Showcase events, our strategy is clear in terms of energizing our team and creating a vibrant environment to successfully conduct business. Never has a thoughtful omni-channel strategy been more integral to success than it is today.”

Kathy Greene, director of brand strategy and communications for Emser Tile, added, “Emser Tile continues to bring the best designs to life. And while tile product advances are always evolving, so too are the ways we can effectively communicate with our key audiences.”

In the coming weeks the Emser Virtual Product Showcase is set to launch, along with the company’s 2021 product brochure and full trend report that discusses design influences.

Prior to the full trend report, Suzanne Zurfluh, director of design and trends at Emser, named several trends currently shaping the market.

Authentic Materials

Emser virtual product showcase

Natural, handmade materials with highly tactile textures that are charmingly imperfect add warmth and comfort to the space. Authentic materials such as rustic stone, pitted concrete, textural brick, wicker and wood grain add textural interest to our surroundings while acting as a counterbalance to our frequent contact with the digital world.

Biophilia & Wellness

Bringing nature into residential and commercial spaces for stress reduction, creativity, cognitive functions and overall better well-being. Wellness will be a key factor going forward with much attention being placed on adding calming rituals such as water elements, good indoor air quality, non-toxic building materials, sunlight and plants into the space. Biophilic design also relates to the utilization of sustainable choices that create a circular approach to design.

Nordic Style

Characterized by minimalism, simplicity and functionality. Nordic style highlights the use of natural materials, such as leather, light woods and hemp to create a cozy, inviting environment. This style focuses on textural appeal, sculptural shapes and earthy hues, which coordinate perfectly with warm neutral shades.
