Edimax Astor Ceramiche has introduced a new piece of technology resulting from their keen focus on research and innovation. To further their accomplishments in the ceramic sector, 3D Shaped Technology provides even more realism to their surfaces, adding texture and life to create products with realism.
The final results are collections inspired by natural stones, with visual texture, and a matching tactile surface that is perfectly aligned to the image. The two collections (Stream and Velvet) were presented at Coverings earlier this year, and have since been well received.
Stream takes the look of travertine in two colours, Silver and Bone. Both cross-cut and vein-cut veining are replicated with the technology for varied aesthetic surfaces. Velvet is a marble inspired surface, with imitation veins and depressions that break up the surface. The colour options include White, Grey and Almond.
