World Central KitchenSalem, N.J.— Mannington Mills is raising funds to support the relief effort in Ukraine. “The war in Ukraine is causing a massive humanitarian crisis,” said Keith Campbell, Mannington chairman of the board. “We feel compelled to help in some way because caring and doing the right thing are part of our culture. It’s in our nature to want to help others.”

Mannington associates have just finished a pledge drive to support the work of World Central Kitchen, a hunger relief organization that heads to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian and community crises. They are now in Poland serving hot meals to Ukrainian refugees—mostly women, children and senior citizens—and working on the Ukrainian side of the border to deliver food to those who remain there. Amtico International, based in Coventry, UK, is also holding a pledge drive, with donations going to the Ukrainian relief efforts of The British Red Cross.

In total, $57,500 is being donated to these two entities, including Mannington’s 50% match of all donations made by associates and the Campbell family.

Mannington said it is proud of its associates whose actions speak to the heart of the company, especially in times like these. “We hope to show the world that when tragedy strikes, Mannington helps,” Campbell added.

Mannington supports a number of humanitarian programs across the U.S. and abroad, focusing on communities where it has operations. For more information, visit Mannington.com.
