Natural Stone Institute: On-Floor TISE Education

300 NSI LogoOBERLIN, Ohio — The Natural Stone Institute will be offering a series of free informational sessions in booth 3523 during StonExpo/Marmomac at TISE at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Sessions will take place Jan. 23-25 and will focus on several programs offered by the association. Members and industry colleagues are invited to attend these sessions to learn about important benefits available to Natural Stone Institute members.

Jan. 23

10 a.m.: Delegation Trips
Learn about opportunities for members to serve on international delegations to trade fairs, quarries, and factories.

10:30 a.m.: Gary Sinise Foundation
Through this program, members donate natural stone and fabrication services to severely wounded veterans.

11 a.m.: Women in Stone
Get involved with the Women in Stone mission to recruit, retain, and advance women in the natural stone industry.

11:30 a.m.: CEU Program
Expand your outreach to architects and designers by providing CEU presentations.

Noon: Membership Overview
Learn about the tangible benefits of joining the Natural Stone Institute and how to utilize these benefits for your company.

12:30 p.m.: Testing Lab
Take advantage of the Natural Stone Institute’s testing lab to ensure your testing results are accurate and up-to-date.

1 p.m.: Supplier to Buyer Manual
Learn about the Supplier to Buyer Manual, a resource for purchasing and sourcing stone internationally.

1:30 p.m.: Natural Stone Resource Library
Learn how to access over 250 technical documents that are available free of charge in the Natural Stone Resource Library. 

2 p.m.: Regional Quarry Tour Program
New in 2019, several regional quarry tours will take place across the country.

2:30 p.m.: Use Natural Stone Campaign
Learn how your company can get involved with the Use Natural Stone Campaign to support the use of genuine natural stone to consumers and designers.

3 p.m.: Natural Stone University
Take your company’s training program to the next level by utilizing the resources in the Natural Stone University.

Jan. 24

10 a.m.: Study Tour Program
Learn about the 2019 Natural Stone Institute Study Tour, which will take place in the Knoxville, Tenn., area.

10:30 a.m.: Awards Program
Learn about the application process for the Pinnacle, Tucker, and Industry Recognition Awards, and hear how projects and individuals are selected for recognition.
