Fastest Growing CompaniesMountville, Pa.—AHF Products has been selected by the Central Penn Business Journal (CPBJ) as one of the Fastest Growing Companies in 2023.

AHF Products has grown rapidly in both the residential and commercial flooring segments by innovating and broadening its product offerings through its world-class brands, manufacturing capabilities and channels of distribution and providing exceptional service and solutions to its customers. AHF’s acquisition last summer of certain Armstrong Flooring assets expanded its product and end market footprint and positioned the company and its customers for higher levels of profitability and growth. The acquisition was the next in a series of deals that AHF has recently completed, following the J. Michael and LM Flooring (Cambodia) transactions in 2020, Parterre Flooring Systems in 2021 and American OEM in 2022.

“Being acknowledged as one of central Pennsylvania’s Fastest Growing Companies is a testament to the dedication of our exceptional team and the unwavering support of our valued partners and customers,” said Brian Carson, AHF president & CEO. “We started this journey with a vision, and today we stand tall, proud of the progress we’ve made together. It’s a reminder that hard work, innovation and passion pay off.”

For more than a century, AHF Products’ brands, such as Bruce, Armstrong Flooring, Hartco and Robbins, have been known in America as leaders in hard surface flooring solutions. The company’s trusted, nationally recognized brands include hardwood flooring, luxury vinyl flooring and next-generation flooring solutions. AHF manufactures 100% of its solid hardwood flooring in the USA, along with a large offering of engineered hardwood flooring and resilient flooring. Headquartered here, AHF employs over 2,000 people.

“Today AHF offers 14 brands, including Armstrong Flooring, which allow us to expand our customer base and grow our manufacturing and corporate support facilities here in Lancaster County where we employ a total of 340 people,” Carson said. “Purchasing the Armstrong Flooring assets was important and transformative to AHF and to the people that work in the plants and in the surrounding communities. With eight plants in the United States, AHF markets under some of best trade names in the flooring industry. We are going to continue to grow from here.”

Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of CPBJ/BridgeTower Media, added, “This year’s Fastest Growing Companies are dynamic businesses that know how to create financial growth, which includes a happy and healthy workforce. We at the Central Penn Business Journal are proud to recognize these businesses that are growing in Central Pennsylvania.”

CPBJ’s Fastest Growing Companies recognizes local business growth, where companies are ranked according to revenue growth and percentage increases over the last three years. The ranking formula, coordinated by SEK CPAs & Advisors, leads to the recognition of both large and small companies. Eligible companies must have revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending in 2020, 2021 and 2022, and show revenue growth in 2022, as compared to 2020 (a three-year period). Companies must be headquartered in the Pennsylvania counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York.
