Emser Tile Central Distribution Center ember comparably awards 2021Los Angeles, Calif.— Emser Tile, designer, marketer and producer of tile and natural stone, won two 2021 awards from Comparably.com for “Best Company Operations” and “Best Sales Teams,” the only flooring company represented on each list, according to Emser.

This year’s Comparably top ranking of companies was based on sentiment ratings provided by employees in operations (Best Company Operations) and sales (Best Sales Teams) who anonymously rated employers. Nearly 20 different workplace culture categories were measured from compensation, leadership and co-workers to work/life balance, professional development opportunities and perks and benefits. All ratings were given during the COVID-19 pandemic (March of 2020 through March of 2021) making the list relevant in showcasing how companies navigated change, Emser said.

“The pandemic drove many companies to review their existing business model and adjust to the new norm that was forming even before these extraordinary times,” said Carl Delia, president, Emser. “We adapted our sales and service models to be nimbler, with the goal of continuing to deliver our high levels of service and support in new ways. Recognizing our operations and sales teams reinforces that we are affecting positive change in our company. We want to thank the Comparably team’s dedication to highlighting companies striving to be examples of a positive workplace environment at every level.”
