Altamonte Springs, Fla.—Kahrs Americas has hired Renee Tester as director of marketing. She will be responsible for leading all marketing initiatives and driving the continued growth of Kahrs Americas’ business.

“We’re very excited to have Renee on board,” said Sean Brennan, president of Kahrs – Americas Division. Her depth of experience, knowledge and management capabilities will complement our team and continue to help grow and strengthen our position in the Americas.”

Tester brings over twenty years of experience in the home improvement industry, with the last sixteen years specifically in the flooring sector. In 2007, Tester joined Tarkett/Harris Wood. After Harris Wood was acquired by QEP in 2010, her responsibilities expanded to include marketing, product and sales, with her most recent role as vice president marketing, e-commerce and digital. Tester has a track record of numerous successful marketing and product launches, utilizing various sales channels such as direct-to-retail, distribution and home center sales. During her time at QEP, Tester played a significant role in developing and growing QEP’s online and in-store presence through strategic marketing campaigns, including a focus on social media growth and innovative selling tools.

Tester is actively involved with the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) and currently serves as the chair of the Emerging Leaders Council within the organization. She has been recognized in Hardwood Flooring Magazine’s “40 under 40” and as a prominent figure in “Women in the Industry.”
