For over 30 years, the tile design team at Mediterranea has had an eye for the most elegant and timeless stone looks. With their all-new Meritage series, they’ve introduced a truly classic and luxurious stone look for the ages. And now it’s on display and available through the Rubble Tile showroom.
Grey
The Meritage Collection at Rubble Tile
The stone graphics featured in Meritage are sourced from the very finest European quarries, with unmatched depth and natural veining. For that reason, these porcelain tiles are offered with an incredibly rich polished finish, as well as a matte finish in the popular 12” x 24 inch format.
This tile collection is ideal for residential or commercial use in floors, walls, kitchens, backsplashes and bathrooms – almost any application that demands a fine design touch.
Ivory
Meritage also features rectified edges to minimize grout joints, further creating a clean, luxurious feel.
The collection is offered in four perfectly balanced colors: Ivory, Black, Grey & Beige. Each color contains just the right amount of veining and movement so that they don’t overpower a space. The palette is neutral enough to pair well with most finishes, while at the same time it’s versatile enough to work in a range of styles from traditional to contemporary.
Beige
Mediterranea adds to the series with a 2 x 2 inch mosaic that would be an ideal shower floor or bathroom backsplash in conjunction with the 12 x 24 inch field sizes.
A 3 x 24 inch bullnose trim piece is available to round out the series. Both the mosaic and the bullnose piece are available in polished or matte.
Sustainable Products and Rubble Tile
At Rubble Tile we strive to increasingly provide eco-friendly tile products and source manufacturers that are focused on sustainability. To that end, all porcelain tile manufactured at Mediterranea’s StonePeak facility in Tennessee has been Green Squared℠ certified by the Tile Council of North America.
The Meritage collection specifically contains no less than 40% recycled content. Porcelain tile is a highly sustainable option for home and commercial design, even without recycled content. It is generally fire-proof, flood proof, and freeze-proof. It lasts decades and decades.
All products bearing the Green Squared℠ Certified certification mark have been assessed for adherence to the ANSI A138.1 standard by a recognized third-party certification body.
Green Squared℠ is a certification program developed by the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) as part of its ongoing initiative to support the efforts of producers, purchasers and policy makers to improve the environmental and social sustainability of products and services, based on either established and/or advanced scientific principles, practices, materials and standards.
