Calhoun, Ga.—Mannington Commercial has entered into a new partnership with Material Bank, the largest material marketplace in the architecture and design industry. Effective today, Mannington Commercial has a broad offering of products available for sample order on Material Bank.

Mannington said it recognizes the needs of designers have changed in part because of the influence of working from home due to COVID-19. Material Bank provides single-source access to thousands of sample materials all available to ship overnight to any address in North America. This service prioritizes the need of designers to access the samples they need wherever they are working.

“We are excited to be partnering with Material bank,” said Brad Root, senior vice president, sales at Mannington Commercial. “Our customers are demanding tools that are innovative and easy to use as they transition between office and home environments. The Material Bank platform will drive efficiencies for our customers and create awareness of Mannington beyond our current reach.”

Material Bank will feature many of Mannington Commercial’s broad portfolio of products including luxury vinyl tile, carpet, heterogeneous and homogeneous sheet, rubber tile and wall base.

Material Bank simplifies the ordering process by combining multiple samples in one recyclable box while also shipping orders overnight with a 10:30 a.m. delivery if placed by midnight EST. Material Bank’s 80,000 square-foot facility is in Memphis, Tenn., in close proximity to FedEx. Material Bank utilizes robotics to expedite order picking to help keep up with the high demand and have plenty of time to meet FedEx’s cutoff time, allowing designers a larger window each day to order overnight samples.

Mannington Commercial’s sample products are now available to order online on Material Bank’s website.
