Manchester, N.H.—Howard Brodsky, chairman and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners, will be this year’s recipient of the Global Leadership Award presented by the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire (WACNH). He is being recognized for his commitment to creating global connections and passion for helping global leaders understand the benefits of cooperative business.

Brodsky’s mission has always been to help entrepreneurs succeed in an unpredictable global market by providing them with the scale and innovations they need to survive. He is founder and chairman of Cooperatives for a Better World, an international nonprofit that helps independent businesses around the globe work together to create economies of scale by participating in cooperatives. Brodsky also leads the initiative CCA for Social Good, which is currently servicing over 20,000 childcare centers and 650,000 children.

“I am especially pleased that Howard Brodsky will be this year’s recipient of the WACNH Global Leadership Award,” said Steve Solomon, WACNH president. “Although his work at CCA Global has an international impact, he was born in Manchester, started his career in a local family business here, and has a strong commitment to local institutions. He exemplifies New Hampshire’s connection to the world through his various international philanthropic programs. With initiatives like Cooperatives for a Better World and CCA for Social Good, Howard has shown other business leaders what it means to do good while doing well.”

The WACNH presents the annual Global Leadership Award to a business, organization or individual who has shown leadership in promoting international knowledge and understanding in the community, all while expanding New Hampshire’s global connection. Brodsky has proven himself as a leader who engages with the world in order to help build a stronger global community in Manchester.

“I am truly humbled to receive the 2019 Global Leadership Award from the World Affairs Council,” Brodsky said. “CCA Global takes a world view on social justice and a more equal society and works to help bring scale and opportunity to family businesses and organizations across the world.  This enables them to better serve their markets by helping them level the playing field. Receiving this prestigious award helps validate that we are doing the right thing and making a positive impact at the global level. On behalf of the entire CCA Global team, I want to thank the World Affairs Council for this recognition.”

Brodsky will be presented this award on May 19 during the annual Global Forum at Southern New Hampshire University.
