Mannington manufactures face shields for frontline workers

HomeCOVID-19Mannington manufactures face shields for frontline workers
Mannington associates delivered face shields to several locations in Georgia and New Jersey.

Salem, N.J.—Mannington Mills’ facility in Madison, Ga., has been busy making more than just flooring these days. Thanks to a collaboration with a materials partner, Klockner Pentaplast, Mannington has made 1,000 clear face shields to donate to frontline workers.

The face shields are currently being used at a number of sites in both Georgia and New Jersey, in areas where Mannington has a significant community presence.

Giving back, the company said, is part of the Mannington credo. “We are grateful to Klockner for working with us on this project,” said Michael Edwards, senior vice president of operations at Mannington. “We’ve been able to help out our frontline workers in both healthcare and law enforcement as they work to keep us safe every day.”
