Montmagny, Québec―Mercier presented its annual awards last March, recognizing and rewarding partners who have distinguished themselves in terms of sales performance and representation in the U.S. market in 2020.

The winners are as follows:

Distributor of the Year – Certified Carpets Distribution

Certified Carpets Distribution has been a long-time partner of Mercier and won the Distributor of the year award. “Certified Carpets Distribution is a valuable contributor to the development of the brand, and we are proud to have such a strong partner in the Midwest territory,” said Wade Bondrowski, director of sales, USA at Mercier Wood Flooring.

Ken Miller, vice president of sales and marketing at Certified Carpets Distribution took the opportunity to reiterate the company’s trust in Mercier. “We attribute the long-term success of our partnership to attaining mutually agreed upon goals and hard work. Thank you to the entire Mercier team for making this possible.’’

Merchandiser of the Year – Michael Halebian & Co.

Michael Halebian & Co., received the Merchandiser of the Year award, recognizing its hard work in increasing the number of Mercier retail locations in the Northeast. “The pandemic did not slow down the team’s progress in 2020; in fact, it was quite the opposite. They had a record year in terms of new Mercier account openings,” Bondrowski said. “Quite an accomplishment.”

Marty Ackerman, retail sales manager, added, “Michael Halebian & Co. stresses the wonderful relationship both companies enjoy together.”

Salesman of the Year – Ryan Musser from JJ Haines & Co.

The Salesman of the Year award went to Ryan Musser from JJ Haines & Co. “His great professionalism and his desire to offer the best to his customers have allowed Mr. Musser to win this well-deserved recognition,” Bondrowski said.

Musser said Mercier quality products are stunning visuals and truly one of the best hardwoods customers can purchase for their homes.
