Dalton—Arropure, a new hand sanitizer brand made by Arropol Chemicals, has launched a “Helping Hand” initiative in support of the floor covering industry. For every purchase of the hand sanitizer by a World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) member, Arropure will refund 10% of the price to the Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) to help recruit and train the next generation of installers.

“In all the years I’ve been in the flooring industry, all I’ve heard is that we haven’t had enough qualified installers,” said Ralph Boe, president of Arropol, who has spent his career as a CEO in floor covering manufacturing. “We put this program together that keeps retailers and manufacturers safe, while at the same time providing funding that goes back to the foundation.”

Scott Humphrey, CEO of WFCA, observed: “We’re providing a resource you would need anyway. You utilize that resource, and at the same time benefit the Floor Covering Education Foundation and together, we solve this problem.”

Steve Abernathy, head of the FCEF, added, “The Floor Covering Education Foundation is poised to tackle one of our industry’s most pressing issues—installer recruitment and education. To meet this difficult challenge, FCEF needs involvement from every area of our industry, and we are excited that Arropure has chosen to partner with the WFCA and FCEF to support this important initiative.”

Unlike some foreign-made or sub-standard hand sanitizers that have come and gone, the company said, Arropure is a top-quality, alcohol-based formula made in the U.S. and meets all the requirements of the CDC and W.H.O. It is also registered with the FDA and will kill 99.99% of all the germs that will make you sick, according to the company.

Because Arropure is sold online in bulk and shipped direct to the purchaser, it is also a superior value. “We’re selling our product at significantly reduced prices versus the competition,” Boe said. “We feel our pricing is competitive to all the pricing out there.”

Arropure is sold by the case in 8-ounce, half-liter, liter and gallon bottles. Also available is a hands-free dispenser, as well as pallets of product that can be purchased.

“The WFCA and the FCEF are very excited to partner on this program and launch it very soon,” said Freida Staten, VP of marketing, communications and member relations for WFCA. “I see a lot of communication going on via social media, and we plan to do several ads. We’re here to help and support in any way we can.”

Humphrey added, “When an industry solves its own problems, it’s healthier…and this is the example we need. We need others in the industry following this lead.”
